Firstly, thank you so much for sharing, praying and giving for Isabel’s recovery!!! Prayers work!!

The following is from Isabel , I have added some since she has brain fog from all the meds….

My liver levels have improved greatly but are still to high to be released to come home which was scheduled for today , Monday, 09/21.

Due to my increased medication regimen for my liver rejection it is now affecting my kidneys. I will find out later today if I will have to go back on Dialysis or not. We are all Praying that is not the case. I will be updating everyone once we have more information to come.

Please, family and friends, let us come together to support Isabel on her journey to recovery. The most important thing for a speedy recovery is no stress and a home to go home to. With that being said, with Jason being in LA with Isabel, physically, mentally, and spiritually supporting her in her recovery, Jason has used up his sick days and personal vacation days to cover costs up to now. But with rent, utilities, and everyday costs, the family needs the support of all their family and friends!

**Update from Isabel, as of Monday 9/14/26**

Well, family and friends, I've been at UCLA since last Wednesday to be treated for liver rejection. My enzymes were extremely high on my labs, and my liver coordinator messaged me to immediately head to the ER for a biopsy. I was excited this morning because I was supposed to go home since my numbers were greatly improving.

This morning, my liver decided to jump my enzymes really high again. So, long story short, I will be here for another seven days or so getting the same treatment I went through when I first got my transplant. Prayers are always welcomed for a full recovery and that my liver takes to this harsh treatment, but it is much needed to keep my liver functioning so that I can enjoy many more years ahead with my family. Love you all ❤️. As you can see, we were already to go home.
