Hi everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read Harlow's story. My name is Anna Castellanos and I am writing this on behalf of my business partner and best friend Ashley Williamson. On Monday November 17th, Ashley's three year old niece Harlow was taken to Nationwide Children's ED after two weeks of being in and out of urgent cares for symptoms of fatigue, weakness, pale skin, and overall malaise. Harlow's bloodwork came back with characteristic markers of cancer. She has had multiple blood transfusions since that day, further testing and imaging. Yesterday it was determined she has metastatic neuroblastoma. As you can imagine this is unimaginable news for Harlow's mom Desiree and the entire family. Harlow is a beautiful, smart, sweet, and spunky little girl who is now facing the biggest challenge of her life. Desiree will need to be by Harlow's side every day to give her the support and comfort she needs for the unforeseeable future. This will affect her employment status and her ability to provide for her family. I am asking for two things. One, please pray. Pray for Harlow's comfort and healing. Pray for the physicians and support team who are taking care of her. Pray for Desiree that God will give her strength, wisdom, and hope. Pray for Harlow's older brother Aidan as he struggles to understand what his sister is facing. Finally, pray for Ashley and the rest of her family that they will find peace, strength, and direction.
