Spende geschützt
Hey friends!
Hannah Rose here. Starting a fundraiser to replace the funds that were unfortunately taken from me at the most beautiful festival on Earth, a home away from home for me. Harvest Gathering.
My band played Saturday night. I wanted to support them and the festival, so I agreed to play for free so everyone else could get paid. Seth (being the Angel that he is) agreed to allow me a vending space to try and make some funds for myself.
I drove three hours and set up for three hours Friday night to make this happen. Prepped all week. I had a gig in Lansing the next morning, so I drove back down to GR at 2 in the morning Friday for my gig Saturday morning. I had it all set up and I had some really good friends work the vending booth for me all weekend. People I trust.
This booth also had wares from my sister Claire, and the most lovely MamaBird /Brooke (a staple of Harvest gathering.)
We sold many of our items and were so delighted to see people enjoying the beautiful things we had collected through out our lives. Each item holding memories and value of its own. The booth did really well.
Sunday when I went to count the money from the booth, there was almost nothing left.
We know there was at least 500 between the three envelopes. Potentially more.
We have narrowed down who we think took the money. It was someone who was closely watching the booth and has been known to have “sticky fingers.”
And to add insult to injury, a wind storm came in and ruined the $200 easy up I had brought for the booth.
I'm raising a little more than what was stolen, because I’ve been giving away my merchandise all summer and would love the chance to order more.
I am not one to ask for charity or hand outs, but when I give everything I have to make sure everyone is taken care of- and am left with nothing… I have no choice but to reach out to my community of supporters.
I know y’all believe in me as an artist and want to see me succeed. Unfortunately there are people that want to take for themselves, and I refuse to let that experience dampen the most beautiful little Michigan festival.
If you decide to donate, the money will be dispersed between the 3 of us that sold our items at the booth. To pay our bills and put money in our gas tanks. And to replace the easy up.
Thanks for taking time to read this y'all. Love you very very much.
This train won’t stop, we keep rolling! And love powers the engine.
