I’m raising funds for my friend Gordon Melin, a lifelong Easton resident, a veteran, and someone many people in town already know. Gordon has deep roots here. He lives in a historic family home that was built by his grandfather in 1892 and passed down through generations. It is more than just a house to Gordon. It is part of his family’s history and part of Easton’s history too.

Recently, the community came together in a big way to help Gordon with a major yard cleanup after years of regrowth. That effort was a real success and showed just how much people care about him and want to help. But while volunteers were able to make a huge difference outside, the home still needs repairs that require more than community labor alone.

The funds raised here will go toward an exterior paint job, structural work on the porch, and redoing some of the floors. These are important repairs that Gordon cannot afford to take on by himself while living on a fixed income.

This fundraiser is a chance to keep that momentum going and help finish what the community has started. If you are able to donate, any amount will help move Gordon’s home restoration forward. If you cannot give, sharing this fundraiser would also mean a great deal. Thank you for supporting Gordon and helping preserve a home that has meant so much for so many years.
