I’m reaching out with love for Ginny, a 42-year-old Latina Puerto Rican woman who is quadriplegic and lives with cerebral palsy. Ginny is a gentle, loving soul who finds joy in painting and arts and crafts.
We recently moved Ginny into a care facility where she is finally receiving the medical support, stability, and attention she needs. Since arriving, we’ve already seen improvements in her comfort and overall well-being. Unfortunately, the cost of this facility is more than she can afford. Her only income comes from her father’s Social Security, which is not enough to cover her rent and basic needs. She is about $400 short each month, not including essential items like diapers and toiletries.
I have reached out to her mother’s family without success. I am doing everything I can to protect Ginny’s home and care, but I cannot do this alone. Any support—whether a one-time or monthly donation, or simply sharing this page—means the world to us.
Thank you for keeping Ginny in your thoughts and helping her remain in a safe, loving environment. Every disabled person deserves to be protected and to have a healthy, dignified quality of life.
With love,
Tania
