My name is Ghada, I’m 33 years old and a mother of two beautiful children — Nawaf (6) and Nisreen (4).

We live in Gaza, where war has taken away everything.

Before the war, my husband Ahmed left Gaza in search of a better future for our family. After years of struggle, he finally made it to Europe.

We dreamed of being reunited. But since October 7th, everything changed.

There is no food. No clean water. No safe place. We live in fear and hunger every day.

My children cry from pain and from hunger. I try to protect them, but I have no resources left.

We are not asking for a future anymore — just a chance to survive today.
