Support Gabe's Journey at Interlochen

From the moment our son Gabe met his trombone teacher in 6th grade and discovered that his “real job” was to play trombone with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Gabe’s dream of becoming a professional trombone player has never wavered.

Gabe competed in numerous solo festivals, placing him with the top trombones in our county, our area of the state, and recently with the top 3 in New York State. He has been principal trombone of the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra and Buffalo State Honor Band.

For the past two summers, Gabriel has been accepted into the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp’s National Youth Wind Symphony. Last year, he was also a finalist in their concerto competition. His time at Interlochen transformed the performer he is shaping into and created a focus and maturity that is rare for a high school junior or senior.

Gabe has decided that after graduation, Interlochen’s post-graduate program will give him the opportunity to further his growth as a musician and help him prepare for the vigors of the most elite college auditions. He has been accepted for the fall 2024, but unfortunately right now, the financial package that was offered is thousands of dollars short of what we need to cover tuition. All funds collected will be used for Interlochen tuition. We greatly appreciate your consideration and any support you can give!
