This weekend we had a car drive through our restaurant. Thankfully nobody was hurt but our restaurant suffered a lot of damage to the building and our dining room. We are a new restaurant that opened in January, and we've been amazed by the neighborhood's response. We are not sure what the driver's insurance will cover at this point and as we start rebuilding and rebuying the items that were damaged, we know that we will need to purchase these items out of pocket because we can't wait the weeks or months for our claim to be closed. We need to buy new chairs and tables, as well as the plates and glasses that were on those tables. As a young restaurant, every dollar is important.
