My name is Yancy, I have a beautiful wife and two loving daughters. My youngest is trying to go to school. She has a passion for radiology. My oldest is now in her thirties. married to a wonderful man and she's two kids which means I have two grandkids at this time. And I am proud for the last 30 years, I've worked as an occupational therapy assistant, helping others with minor and devastating news and then I would try to work my magic to help them regain their skills and regain their health to be able to go home with their loved ones. So now I am reaching out for help during an incredibly difficult time for myself and my family. I just turned 60 years old, and recently, I received devastating news: I have a mass on my ascending colon that has metastasized to my liver, along with two nodules on my lungs. On top of this, I have been living with diabetes for 42 years and struggle with seizures. The combination of these health challenges has made it , difficult to continue working full time. I will continue to work as much as I can, and I am deeply worried about how my wife and child will manage without my income.
As the medical bills continue to pile up, our financial situation has become more and more strained. We are struggling to keep up with rent, electric bills, and all the basic living expenses that keep our household running. My greatest concern is making sure my family is safe and cared for while I focus on my health and treatment. The stress of not knowing how we will make ends meet is overwhelming, and I am reaching out to our community for support.
Any help you can offer would mean the world to us. Your generosity will go directly toward covering our medical bills and essential living costs, giving my family the stability we need during this uncertain time. I want to thank everyone in advance for your kindness and support—it truly means everything to us as we navigate this struggle together.
