The Highland families Wrobbel and Comish have experienced a loss no family should ever have to- the passing of a preemie baby. Born at 30 weeks gestation, Lorelei Nancy Wrobbel lived for a little over a month in the NICU at Children’s in STL. She then passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on October 2nd.
Her mother, Johannah, is an English teacher and guard coach at Highland High School, and her father, Parker, is employed at Basler Electric. They are both very active in the community and have been since their teen years.
Losing a child is something no family can ever prepare for, and we have hopes that our greater area and beyond can rally around these families that have rallied behind the community time after time. There will be costs associated with the hospital stays, air lifting, and funeral services. Please help in any way you can. We also have a meal train started for the family if that is a better way for you to contribute.
