I am writing this on behalf of the Torres Family. Yesterday morning, we learned that Miguel Torres lost his life during a tragic work accident. His family lost a brother, a husband, father, and a son. Miguel was a good man, full of life, love, and friendship. He was a mature and caring family member, often the voice of reason and wisdom. He made the effort, despite his work travels, to be there for his family and friends. He will be sorely missed but still loved by many. He was a great human being and frankly this loss seems very unfair. In our minds, we wonder what everyone could have done differently. We wonder, out of all the people in the world, why him? But alas, we shall never know. Only Jesus and his cool dad Mr. God knows.

Right now, the Torres Family is facing not only the heartbreak of losing Miguel, but also the financial challenges that come with such a sudden loss. The funds raised here will help cover funeral costs and provide support for Miguel’s little ones as they navigate life without their father. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
