Support for the Malmangers

Tom and Ellen have been overwhelmed by the support they have received during this difficult experience - thank you all so much for helping to relieve some of the financial stress that they have been facing.
The cost of copays and deductibles on top of missed work has added up quickly, so I have updated the goal of this fundraiser. While Tom has completed his radiation and chemotherapy treatments, he still faces surgery that will come with a long recovery.

Our friend Tom Malmanger has been diagnosed with cancer, and due to the severity of the situation he will be receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic. Though his treatments will be covered by insurance, the cost for Tom and Ellen to travel between Iowa and Minnesota is going to add up - but that is where we can help!
Tom and Ellen are two of the most kind and genuine people I have ever met and I know that if the roles were reversed they would drop everything to help any of their friends. I am starting this fundraiser in order to ease the burden of travel expenses (gas, food, lodging, etc) for Tom and Ellen over the upcoming months.
I know we are all heartbroken to see our friends face this challenge. This fundraiser is a small way for us to show the Malmangers that they have world of support behind them.
