On Father’s Day Brandon was involved in a tragic accident while swimming with his family and friends. He miss judged a dive into the swimming pool and hit his head on the bottom of the pool. He was unable to feel anything from his chest down. He was taken via ambulance to Salem hospital, where he was then life flighted to OHSU for spinal surgery. He is still in the trauma intensive care unit at OHSU.

 

Brandon is awake and making progress on his recovery. They are hoping that he will be moved out of TICU in the coming days. He has a very long road to recovery. The doctors have let him know that he will most likely never walk again.  

 

Brandon has a beautiful wife and seven amazing kids waiting to be a family again. The Lime family are very generous people. They have given year after year to our community, most of the time anonymously. They have always been there for family, friends, and strangers in need.

 

Please join us in helping to support the Lime family during this hard time. Brandon will be transferring to a rehabilitation center before finally being able to come home to his family.

 

Money raised will be used to help cover medical bills, retrofitting their home to accommodate Brandon, and other things to make this transition for their family.
