It’s with profound sadness that we share that on Thursday, March 28, father, friend, and renowned Bay Area chef Stephen Simmons passed away suddenly from a heart attack.

Anyone who knows Stephen knows that he was a kind, generous spirit who spent his life nourishing others, especially his children Alex, Lily, and Kaleb. Now, we hope that some of the special light he gave the world will come back around to support his children.

We aim to raise $125,000 to ease the financial burden of his sudden departure and help ensure Kaleb's continued education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
