For nearly a decade, Jess and Chris Alter dreamed of having a baby.  Years of disappointment turned to pure joy when Jess  announced she was finally pregnant!  After enduring through a high risk pregnancy, Jess gave birth to that sweet little boy you see above.  Lincoln Wayne burst in to the world in November 2017.  Full of life and wonder, Lincoln was a joy to anyone who met him.  He was a dream come true for Jess and Chris.

On April 3rd, 2018, the dream became a nightmare when the phone rang.  The dreaded call saying that your child has been hurt, in an accident or worse.  

This is the "worse" story.  

Lincoln was found unresponsive during his nap and was rushed to the hospital.  They worked tirelessly trying to revive him, but it was too late.  At just four months old, Lincoln was gone.  He leaves behind countless broken hearts and two devastated parents struggling to make it from one hour to the next, let alone one day to the next.
