Support for Tash, Asher, & Baby Buckle - In Memory of Bryan

On June 6, 2025, our friend Bryan Buckle - known to most of us simply as “Buckle” - passed away unexpectedly. His death has left a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was the kind of person who made friends wherever he went, with an infectious energy, a huge heart, and a smile that could light up a room. He was the first to lend a hand, the first to show up, and the last to leave when you needed him. Buckle lived in the moment—whether it was traveling Europe with friends, playing video games, spending quality time with his family, or just hanging out watching a game. He loved fiercely, laughed loudly, and never minced words.

Buckle’s greatest joy was his son, Asher, who is just over a year old and already has his dad’s smile joyful spirit. Buckle was also eagerly awaiting the arrival of his second child with his partner, Tasha, who is currently pregnant.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to support Tasha as she prepares for life as a single mother of two. As she goes on maternity leave, the financial burden is heavy with rent, childcare, bills, and the everyday costs of raising young kids. Without Buckle's support, it’s overwhelming. This fund will help Tasha stay in their home, provide for her children, and focus on healing and bonding with her newborn without the stress of financial insecurity. At the time of creating this, Tasha does not know we are making this GoFundMe, and we want to try and keep it that way as long as possible so we aren’t adding any additional emotional baggage on her.

The goal is to try and pay her rent for a year, which will likely be her largest expense. We know the goal seems intimidating, but anything you can give—whether it’s $5 or $500—will go a long way toward helping Tasha and her kids find stability in the midst of unimaginable loss. Buckle was always the first to show up when someone needed help. Now it’s our turn to show up for his family.
