Sergio’s father has always been the heart of their family—a humble, cheerful presence who offered advice, kindness, and a big heart to everyone he met. In April, he suffered a stroke (brain bleed) and began a slow but hopeful recovery at Creekside Care Center in Richmond, CA. With determination, he regained movement on both sides and was able to respond to his loved ones, showing the strength and spirit that everyone admires in him.

Tragically, on the night of the Fourth of July, Sergio’s father suffered a cardiac arrest. He was unresponsive for a long period, which caused severe brain damage and additional health complications. This sudden turn has left the family facing overwhelming medical expenses, the need for funeral arrangements, and the challenge of supporting Sergio’s mother through this incredibly difficult time.
