Support for Rileys recent Brain Tumor diagnosis

Dear friends and families of Jolene and Steve Downer. On the morning of Thursday August 11/22 Jolene took her son for his annual eye exam just expecting to be in and out of the appointment and it be over with until the next was required. Riley has had no previous issues, it was just a regular check up . Unfortunately this appointment was going to change their lives though. Within a few short minutes of them being there, fluid was found behind his eyes. The dr instructed Jolene to take Riley to the Emergency department for a CAT Scan immediately. By 10pm that night they were at Sick Kids. The next morning Riley had surgery for a biopsy and to have the fluid drained off, which went well . Riley is now awaiting an MRI to see of fluid is draining . Both of them will be waiting at Sick Kids for 3-5 days while they await the biopsy results. Those results will say whether they go home and his future treatment. Unfortunately Jolene must wait alone as there is only 1 parent allowed . Steve will be driving back and fourth. to support them as best he can. While they still have their youngest boy Tristan at home as well. This sweet family is experiencing a shock of a lifetime. They really could use everyones love and support to see them through this unprecedented time. I am hoping to get some donations to help them with their bills from living out of a hospital, to the gas driving back and forth and from the loss of working. They have so much to worry about right now , their bills shouldn't be one of them. Please keep them in your prayers
