On August 12th, our dad Rick had a stroke. Dad works as a WebMaster for the ministry CRI, as well as a PCA every other weekend for the company Opal. As you can imagine, this will take a huge toll on our parents financially and I wanted to set this fundraiser up as a way to take some stress off of them as he begins his recovery. I know that there are a million fundraisers floating around and there are so many needs in the world, but anything, no matter how big or small, would be a huge blessing for them. 
After our dads first MRI on Monday we discovered that he has had multiple strokes in the past, so apparently he is a very strong guy that was just finally knocked down a little bit! As of right now the affected areas are his right arm, leg, and his speech.  We are hoping for a complete recovery, but we know it will take time with extensive rehab and a lot of patience.
