North Seattle is mourning the tragic loss of Quusaa Margarsa, a young man in his early 20s and a proud Nathan Hale High School alumni who played basketball for Nathan Hale. Quusaa was found shot and killed at his workplace, the Growler Guys Beer Garden in Lake City. His brothers Badhasa, Gadisa, Imran, and Ismail and pillars in the Seattle Select community and his other brothers and sisters are amazing leaders in NE Seattle. The community has been left in shock and grief. There are currently no suspects or arrests, and anyone with information is urged to contact Seattle Police.

Those who knew Quusaa remember him as a great guy who always showed up for others. His employer described him as someone who always had a smile and could never be brought down. The world truly lost someone important, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. The Margarsa family is known for their strength, love, and leadership in the community. They have always been there for others, and now the community is coming together to support them in their time of need.
