On Thursday, August 29th, 2024, Roland David Couillard, affectionately known as Rolly or Rockboy, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers, Massachusetts. Surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren, Roland left this world with the same grace and dignity that defined his life. He was 70 years old. Roland was a man of immense character, known for his generosity, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Throughout his eight-year battle with cancer, he demonstrated incredible strength and courage, always putting the well-being of his loved ones first. In his final wishes, Roland expressed his desire for simplicity, requesting that no formal funeral services be held. However, in a final act of love and care, Roland’s true selflessness shone through—his greatest concern was ensuring that his devoted wife, Nancy, is taken care of after his passing. Nancy, who stood by Roland’s side through every challenge and triumph, now faces the road ahead without her beloved husband. To honor Roland’s wishes and to support Nancy during this difficult time, we are asking for donations to help cover her future expenses.
