I was diagnosed with stage 3 C melanoma in March and then diagnosed with metastatic melanoma on the lymph nodes. I went through surgery on the scalp and the lymph nodes. Recently, I had my tubes and ovaries removed because of a cyst. I have another surgery coming up on June 30th to remove 3 lung nodules. In March, on the CT scan, there was only one.

I have been without work since April 17th when I went through my first surgery. In order for me to keep my insurance because I can’t get FMLA, I have to pay for my portion and the company portion of my insurance, which is $433.62 every 2 weeks. I applied for Medicaid but have not heard back yet. I have run out of my savings. I never thought that I would ask for help, but I am today.
