Support for Louise Ollano & Family

On April 14th, 2026, the Ollano family suffered a tremendous loss with the unexpected passing of Greg Ollano.
Greg was the kind of man who made families—not just the one he created with his wife Louise and their son, Lucas, but also as the front desk of the JMP at ECHS, at Chaiyo Muay Thai and Bridges Rock gyms, at Harding Elementary—anywhere he was often enough to be known, people knew and loved Greg.
His way of caring was both practical and profound, and it was impossible to be in his presence without feeling a part of something greater and more loving.
Louise and Greg met and fell in love working at El Cerrito High, where Louise continues to work as a teacher. Anyone who has taken her Financial Literacy class will know that no matter how you are feeling, bills will still be due. Your support here will help Louise and Lucas focus on recovering from the loss of Greg, not his income. The funds raised will go toward funeral expenses and living costs, providing stability for the Ollanos as they rebuild their lives.
Sometimes people talk about things like "work family," separate from their "actual" family. For the Ollanos, they're the same. As members of their family, it's our turn to take care of them the way they have taken care of us. Please consider supporting Louise and Lucas during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
