Elizabeth “Liz” Middleton was one of seven siblings — a fighter, a mother, and a woman deeply loved by her family.
On Thursday, February 12, 2026, between 9:00–9:20 PM, Liz’s life was tragically taken in a hit-and-run on the 6300 block of Jammes Road.
Liz was traveling south on her electric scooter when a vehicle came up from behind and struck her, knocking her into the woods and leaving her there.
She was left for dead.
Liz was a cancer survivor who had already fought hard for her life. She leaves behind her beloved autistic son and a family now struggling to process this sudden and devastating loss.
No family prepares for something like this.
As the eldest sister, I am asking for help as we try to give Liz the dignified homegoing she deserves. The emotional weight of losing her is already overwhelming — and the unexpected financial burden of burial arrangements makes this even harder.
If you have any information regarding this tragedy, please contact me
We are asking for:
• Prayers for our family
• Support for Liz’s son
• Donations to assist with funeral and burial expenses
Any contribution — big or small — is deeply appreciated.
Liz deserved better.
Thank you for helping us honor her life.
