We lost my dearest friend of 25 years, Kenishe June Bradley, early Wednesday morning, December 10th, at the age of 54. She had been through an excruciating three-year battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Initially confirmed in January of 2023, the Breast Cancer was finally identified after months of pain went undiagnosed. It was already rated Stage-4 upon diagnosis, and had already begun to metastasize to her lymph nodes. At her death, the cancer was present in the breasts, lymph system, lungs, spine, stomach and leg. She endured upwards of fifteen rounds of radiation on her back and leg, and over six different rounds of chemo drugs. We tried teas, elixirs, natural alternatives, holy water and prayer. Our girl was a warrior. She did everything she could to hold onto life and to be there for her family, but the last week of her life, she acknowledged that she was just so tired. She asked her husband and children, her brother Kenneth Ward, Jr., and me, her friend, to forgive her for needing to rest. On December 10th, God answered her prayers and called her home. She was the most vivacious, caring, generous, funny, outgoing, charitable, loving person you could ever hope to be in the sphere of, and her loss has left a gaping hole in every heart that knew her. She insisted on living life to the fullest every moment up until the very end. She is survived by both parents, four of five siblings and their families, her husband, John Bradley, and two sons James and William both still teenagers.
As you can imagine, John has been the sole provider through these years of hardship, including while fighting his own battle successfully with Prostate Cancer. He has been by her side, devotedly the last 31 years of their lives together, and has always put his family first. This GoFundMe has been created on the behalf of John and their children, to help with the pile of medical bills, the funeral arrangements, the mortgage, the boys education, groceries, and everything else they may need until John finds his balance again.
For anyone who has come across this page, Thank You for taking a moment to acknowledge our loss of a wife, mother, sister, daughter and dear friend, and to consider helping out the family in any way you can. All our love, Erin Chesney Keller, on behalf of the Bradleys.
