My 43-year-old son, Keith Porter Jr., was tragically murdered on New Year’s Eve in Northridge, California. He was a warm, generous, and gentle soul, an incredible son, devoted father, loving cousin, and nephew. Keith Jr. had a way of making everyone feel cared for and supported. His sudden and violent loss has left an unimaginable void in our family. As his father, I am heartbroken; I relied on him not only as my son, but as a source of constant help, strength, and love. Our lives will never be the same without him.
