Support for Josette and family

We know you all would like to help support Josette, Jenny, Danielle and Sam during these impossibly difficult times. Know that they are in loving, supportive hands in terms of on-the-ground support. I am from Whidbey Island/Seattle, WA,  but I currently live in Baltimore, MD

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for
The beneficiary is one of my dear friends and her siblings (Danielle, Jenny, Sam), who I have known for ~30 years. Their mother Josette passed away after a terrible car accident this last weekend.

4. How the funds will be used (please be specific as possible)
The funds will be used to cover any medical costs not covered by insurance, as well as legal fees as necessary to deal with a potential issue with the car she was driving. It will also help cover food, childcare and any other costs that come up as the family comes to grips with not only the emotional burden of this terrible loss, but the extensive logistical challenges involved.

5. If you intend to withdraw the funds to your own bank account, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising funds for or use the funds on their behalf
I intend first to reimburse those who have been purchasing food and other supplies over the last week, and then to wire the rest of the money to the family once they start dealing with logistics
