Support for Iris

Randy Gerhard, age 57, passed away while driving truck in Goshen, Indiana from a heart attack on June 14th, 2017.  Due to the nature of his passing while in a different country, many complications have arisen. Randy was also a diabetic and did not have life insurance.  Randy’s sudden and tragic passing has left his family and friends devastated.

Randy…he was rough around the edges but had the heart of a teddy bear.  He would have given you the shirt off his back and often times did.  If you needed someone to count on, Randy was the guy.  He gave the best advice and was always offering a helping hand.  When it came to family, nobody else was more important. Iris, their children and grandchildren were the apple of his eye.  There wasn’t a conversation without Randy mentioning one or all of them.  His tough exterior and heart of gold will forever be remembered.

Iris unexpectedly lost her husband and best friend.  This GoFundMe page is set up to help Iris with any financial burdens she may encounter during this most difficult time.  Please give what you can, but most importantly keep Iris in your thoughts and prayers.    

Funeral services for Randy Gerhard will be held at the Knox United Church Fort Frances at 11am on Thursday June 22,2017.
