Our dear friend, spouse, brother, son, and colleague, Herbert Bretaña, is fighting the toughest battle of his life. Last Sunday, the unthinkable happened when this vibrant, healthy 42-year-old collapsed during a basketball game.

Herbert is more than just a player; he's a dedicated Registered Nurse at Pasqua Hospital, a man who has spent his career compassionately caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Now, he is the one in need of that same care.

He has been intubated and is currently in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Regina General Hospital. His family is by his side, holding onto hope and praying for his recovery.

As we all know, the road ahead is uncertain and will undoubtedly bring significant financial strain from medical costs, lost wages, and personal expenses for his loved ones.

We are creating this fund to lift that burden from his family so they can focus entirely on what matters most: Herbert's healing.
