******Fundraiser Update******

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, prayed, and supported this fundraiser. Your generosity and compassion during such a heartbreaking tragedy have meant more than words can express.

I want to provide an important update regarding this fundraiser.

As circumstances evolved, funeral expenses and certain immediate emergency needs were addressed through the generosity of other organizations, agencies, private donors, and community partners. As a community , we are sincerely grateful to everyone who stepped forward to assist.

The intended recipient has since advised that she no longer wishes to receive assistance through this fundraiser. In accordance with her wishes and under the guidance of GoFundMe, the fundraiser has been updated.

As the organizer, I have a fiduciary responsibility to ensure every donation is administered in accordance with donor intent, GoFundMe's policies, and the purpose for which this fundraiser was established. That being said, with GoFundMe's approval and guidance, any remaining funds will be used to assist individuals and families experiencing tragedies and emergency hardships similar to those for which this fundraiser was originally created as a way to combat domestic violence. Assistance will only be provided based on documented, qualifying needs, with payments made directly to vendors, service providers, or other appropriate recipients whenever applicable. This approach ensures transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of every donation entrusted to this fundraiser.
