Support For Dominic Belmonte: A Grieving Father

On January 5th of this year Vincent Belmonte was murdered, shot in the neck, side and back as he fled the known dangerous officer Larry Mcdonald of the East Cleveland Police Department. Vincent was allegedly in a stolen car his family contends was borrowed, and the fact that he had the keys, and knew the owner suggests that the family is right. Officer Mcdonald is under investigation for corrupt actions and has a history of falsely alleging cars were reported stolen to as a pretext to stop individuals, and search them after he turns off his body cam as this case also suggests.


The Belmonte family comprising of the father Dominic Belmonte and his wife and their five other children are from a small town called Nelson Township (farm country). They are attempting to bury their son Vincent, and remain in the City for a while to both lay to rest their murdered son and see that justice is done.


The City and Law Enforcement knowing that they are so far away, and face logistical challenges will most certainly stall and give the family the run around, which they can not address if handicapped by distance and logistics. We are asking for donations as a resident has donated housing but the housing lacks furniture, and more importantly assistance with funeral expenses for a young black man taken far too soon .
