David, a valued colleague and friend for over 30 years, recently suffered a severe heart attack and is now facing a critical medical journey. His doctors are working tirelessly to stabilize his heart enough to place an LVAD (left ventricular assist device), which would support his heart function and allow him to be added to the waiting list for a heart transplant. While David fights for his life, his wife Jennifer is stretched between attending to David, running her own business and extra work at home.

During this time, everyday expenses are beginning to add up at home. Our goal with this fundraiser is to cover roughly three months of essential costs so that Jennifer can focus on David’s care instead of worrying about bills. Funds will be used for their mortgage and health insurance premiums, utilities, car insurance, groceries, and temporary help with upkeep around the home. Any support you can offer will go directly toward keeping their home stable and cared for while David waits for the chance at a new heart.
