My mother is currently in the ICU at Medical City Dallas, battling a very severe case of pneumonia. She is completely blind and a post kidney transplant patient, which has made her medical journey especially difficult. She's always been a fighter. This time just feels a little different and I need help.

This is an incredibly hard time for our family. I am out of sick time at work, but I want to stay by my mother's side and support her through every moment. My family and i have been on constant rotation since 12/11, and looking at the possibility of final celebration of life expenses ahead. I am reaching out for help so I can stay near her and manage the challenges we are facing.
