Last week, Carolyn's fiancé Adam Cola was killed near their home in Los Angeles.  Carolyn has received an incredible amount of support from her friends and family, both near and far, for which she is most grateful.  I can tell you firsthand that Carolyn is exhibiting exceptional strength, resiliency, and compassion as she navigates this inconceivable injustice.  

Today, I ask that you donate what you can to support Carolyn through her grieving.  What we raise will go directly to her, to offset the time off work she needs to grieve and to organize a memorial service in Adam's honor.  At this time, it is inconceivable that Carolyn should have to go back to work in order to honor Adam in a way that befits the extraordinary person he was.  So please, join me in helping ensure that Carolyn is able to mourn Adam properly.  

We lost a beautiful soul to senseless violence.  Nothing we do will make up for that loss.  But we can help the beautiful woman he left behind regain her footing so that she has the best opportunity to make this world a better place. 

We love you, Adam.  We miss you.  And we hope that wherever you are, you're at peace.
