Baby Scacco needs our help!
Many of you know the Scacco family and have been blessed by their friendship and love. Christian and Allison are Westlake grads who married in 2012 and have since added three sweet peas to their team. Allison also teaches English at Westlake now - some know her as "Coach Wooley."
The newest addition to the Scacco fam is having a bit of a rough go. A few weeks ago, 4 month old Jace showed signs of what mom and dad thought was a case of Hand-Foot-Mouth. As it turns out, he has a rare and painful autoimmune disorder that presents with large and painful blisters all over his tiny body.
Sweet Jace is fighting it like a champ and climbing his mountain, but the road ahead of the Scacco family is a very long one. Thankfully, he will outgrow the disorder eventually. For anyone who has spent any amount of time in the hosipital - Jace has been admitted twice for numerous days - you know just how quickly hospital bills can add up, and Allison can't go back to work until their little man is better. Let's surround the Scaccos with our love and support and make their time out of the hospital a bit more manageable with some much needed financial assistance.
At this time, Christian and Allison have a great inner cricle of support providing meals and other immediate necessities, but the future will bring many unknowns and financial challenges as Jace works to battle this disorder. Anything you can contribute helps, and please feel free to share this campaign with others.
Please check back for updates and keep in mind that the Scacco family appreciates your love and support, but their main focus is on getting their little guy well so please respect their privacy at this time.
We love you, baby Jace!
