Our sweet baby Kamdyn was born far earlier than we ever expected—at just 33 weeks through an emergency c-section While we are incredibly grateful that he is here and fighting every day, he is currently in the NICU, where he will remain until at least late January or early February. Nothing can truly prepare you for the emotional weight of leaving the hospital without your baby, or watching them through monitors and wires while wishing you could simply take them home.
This experience has taken a tremendous toll on our family—emotionally, physically, and financially. Because of our baby’s early arrival and ongoing NICU stay, I am unable to work right now since I am still recovering from a c-section and blood transfusion. Our days are spent traveling back and forth to the hospital so we can be by our baby’s side as much as possible as well as doctors appointments for my recovery. Those trips add up quickly, with gas expenses, meals away from home, and other unexpected costs becoming a daily reality.
Despite all of this, our biggest priority is being there for our baby—loving him, supporting him, and showing up every single day while he grows stronger. We don’t want finances to limit the time we’re able to spend with him during this critical period of his life.
If you’re able to help in any way, whether by donating or sharing our story, we would be beyond grateful. Every contribution helps ease the burden and allows us to focus on what truly matters: our baby’s health and bringing him home when he’s ready.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️
