for Archie and Brianna Arnold

Brianna and Archie were married last summer at a gorgeous outdoor wedding with their two children (Leena (now 4) and  Jay (now 2).  During the past year they both found jobs they loved and were settling into married life.  Who knew that one year later their world would be torn apart by cancer.

A few weeks ago Archie started getting severe headaches.  After going to emergency and some tests it was discovered that Archie has Melanoma.  He had four brain tumours as well as other tumours elsewhere in his body.  Last week Archie had brain surgery to remove two of the tumours that were causing the most pain and seizures.  He is now at home recovering from the surgery while they await biopsy results to determine the possible treatment options to deal with this viscious cancer.

Brianna has not left his side, and now has to also quit her job because Archie cannot be left alone due to seizures.  He especially cannot be left alone with the children.  To add to this, they had just moved into a new rental home that was more suited to their family and now they are both without work.

Brianna has applied for assistance, but with waiting periods and the fact that EI is only 60% of her server minimum wage salary, and the fact that neither of them have been able to work for the past several weeks, their financial situation is dire.

We will not get more information regarding a prognosis until later this week or next, but their need for funds is immediate.  I hope that friends and family can dig deep and provide a donation to help them pay their rent, utilities and put food on the table for their two small children.
