Hello, my name is Kris Schoenberger and I am the owner of BBQ'd Productions in Third Lake, Lake Zurich, and Kenosha.

On Thursday, 11/6/2025, our long-time employee Eusebio suffered a medical emergency at our restaurant in Lake Zurich. He was transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington and within an hour placed on life support. Eusebio suffered a ruptured blood vessel in his brain stem and fought for his life until Sunday at 4:50 am when he tragically passed away, surrounded by his son Ivan by his side, and his kids, Brandon and Gustavo, on the phone back home in Mexico.

Eusebio was born and raised in Mexico and his last wish was to go back home to his mom, dad, and the rest of his very large family. His only family here in America is his work family and his son Ivan.

Wishing to fulfill his last wish, working with a local funeral home, we have found an option to get him back home to Mexico. If you have ever been to BBQ'd Productions in Third Lake or Lake Zurich, Eusebio has cooked your food at some point in time.
