Hi! Emma has been wearing glasses for a few years now. She is 11 going into 6th grade and due to her dyslexia she still doesn’t read. She can pick out a few words but can’t fully read an easy short sentence. She works so hard to strive for what she wants and works harder in areas she falls short in. Recently Emma went to her routine eye appointment. The doctor was very concerned about her eyes as her eyes became extremely worse after her exam a year ago. The doctor wanted her to have an MRI to be sure what the cause was but before we did this she called to ask us to wait on the MRI and come back to double check her eyes. She still can’t correct her vision with glasses so she was referred to her for a binocular exam. Unfortunately this exam isn’t covered under insurance and they don’t accept payment plans. The doctor is wondering if there is a correlation between her learning disability and her vision. If you find it in your heart to help her reach her goal so she can attend this exam that would be wonderful. Donate or share. We appreciate all your help. Thank you all
