Au trecut 11 săptămâni de când viața noastră se desfășoară între pereții unui spital.

11 săptămâni de investigații, analize, așteptări și multe întrebări. Dar și 11 săptămâni în care Emma ne-a arătat, zi după zi, cât de puternică poate fi.

Emma a fost diagnostică cu sindrom mielodisplazic, asociat cu monosomia 7 și o modificare genetică rară. Pentru ea, drumul mai departe înseamnă un transplant de celule stem hematopoietice.

În acest moment, suntem în așteptarea răspunsului legat de donator și continuăm să facem fiecare pas pe care medicii ni-l recomandă. Nu știm încă exact cum vor arăta următoarele săptămâni, dar știm un lucru: suntem aici și mergem înainte.

Emma continuă să fie Emma. Zâmbește, se joacă, descoperă lumea și ne amintește în fiecare zi că, dincolo de diagnostice și rezultate, există un copil care vrea pur și simplu să crească.

Am amânat până acum să cerem ajutor. Poate pentru că am sperat că vom reuși să ducem totul singuri. Dar după aproape trei luni de spitalizare, am înțeles că uneori puterea nu înseamnă să faci totul singur, ci să ai curajul să întinzi mâna atunci când ai nevoie.

De aceea, am decis să inițiem această campanie.

Fondurile strânse ne vor ajuta să acoperim cheltuielile legate de tratamentul Emmei, transplant, investigații, deplasări și toate costurile care apar pe parcursul acestui drum.

Nu cerem compasiune. Cerem o șansă de a continua drumul cu mai puțină grijă pentru lucrurile pe care le putem rezolva financiar și cu toată energia noastră pentru ceea ce contează cel mai mult: Emma.

Orice donație, indiferent de sumă, ne apropie puțin de ziua în care vom putea închide ușa spitalului în urma noastră.

Iar visul nostru este unul foarte simplu:

Să mergem acasă.

Să-i vedem pașii Emmei prin casa noastră, nu pe holurile spitalului.

Să-i sărbătorim următoarea aniversare acasă, înconjurați de oamenii pe care îi iubește.

Să ne întoarcem la lucrurile mici pe care înainte le consideram atât de normale.

Noi privim înainte cu speranță.

It has been 11 weeks since our lives have unfolded within the walls of a hospital.

11 weeks of medical tests, analyses, waiting, and countless questions.

But also 11 weeks during which Emma has shown us, day after day, just how strong she can be.

Emma received a diagnosis: myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) associated with monosomy 7 and a rare genetic mutation. For her, the path forward requires a hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

Right now, we are waiting for an update regarding a donor and we continue to follow every step recommended by the doctors.

We don't know exactly what the coming weeks will look like, but we know one thing: we are here, and we are moving forward.

Emma continues to be Emma. She smiles, she plays, she discovers the world, and she reminds us every day that beyond diagnoses and test results, there is a child who simply wants to grow up.Until now, we held off on asking for help. Perhaps because we hoped we could carry this entire burden on our own. But after nearly three months in the hospital, we have come to realize that sometimes strength doesn't mean doing everything by yourself, but rather having the courage to reach out when you need it most.

That is why we have decided to start this campaign.

The funds raised will help us cover the expenses related to Emma's treatment, the transplant, medical tests, travel, and all the unexpected costs that arise along this journey.

We are not asking for pity. We are asking for a chance to move forward with fewer worries about things that can be solved financially, allowing us to focus all of our energy on what matters most: Emma.

Any donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to the day we can finally close the hospital door behind us.
