Support Elaine's Brave Battle

We're raising money for Elaine's brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

In April of 2025, Elaine got some very unexpected news: she had pancreatic cancer. Elaine is undergoing extensive treatment at Stephenson Cancer Center. Elaine is already a breast cancer survivor. As you know, medical bills are not for the faint of heart. The Paces are commuting frequently for treatments.

Many in our Norman community know Elaine and Terry Pace. Terry, a pillar of the Norman community, was a psychology professor at OU for decades until his recent retirement. He's stepped up for the community in many ways over the years; mentoring countless students, managing the free counseling center at OU, and working as a private therapist. Terry responded to the tragic OKC Bombing and provided psychological services in the horrible aftermath.

Elaine is the rock of the family. Terry and Elaine grew up in the small west Texas town of Levelland. Elaine worked in the town library and cared for her own mother who had cancer. They met as teenagers and have been a couple for 51 years since. Their 36 years in Oklahoma have centered on family and service to our community.
