Our Mission

At The Point Playhouse, we believe in the power of learning through play, creativity, and community. We have dedicated ourselves to creating a safe, inclusive, and enriching space for children of all backgrounds. Our goal is to partner with families to cultivate each child’s individual growth, and we believe that quality early education builds stronger communities.

Our Story

Our journey began in 2019 when the Mills family opened their small home in Point Richmond, Ca to care for children. With a passion for making a difference in early education and a sincere love of our community The Point Playhouse quickly grew. For the past 4 years, we’ve been honored to serve families in our current program. We've added additional teaching staff to our team, but the demand for our services has exceeded our capacity. Parents often have to wait for months to secure a spot for their child in our program. The need is clear, and the solution is simple – expansion.

We have found the perfect location for our new center in El Cerrito, but we need your help to make this vision a reality. We have a small goal of raising $50,000 in the next 45 days. Your generous support will allow us to:

1. Complete with state-of-the-art learning facilities and outdoor play areas.

2. Hire more qualified teachers and staff to maintain our low teacher-to-child ratios and ensure personalized attention for every child.

3. Furnish each learning environment to suit development needs of the children we serve every day.

4. Provide additional educational resources and materials to foster creativity, curiosity, and innovation.
