On Monday night, my brother Eddie suffered a serious fall at his apartment. His neighbor found him and called 911, and he was rushed to Newton Memorial where a CT scan revealed a brain bleed. Eddie was immediately flown to Morristown, where further scans showed skull fractures, swelling, and bleeding on the left side of his head above his ear. He is currently in a medically induced coma to help reduce the swelling, and the doctors are monitoring him closely with daily CT scans. The medical team is keeping him comfortable, and we are all hoping for signs of improvement so they can begin neurological tests when he is ready.

Eddie is a proud Marine Corps veteran who has always gone out of his way to help others. He’s funny, loving, and caring, and has touched the lives of so many people in our community. Right now, he needs our help more than ever. The funds raised will go directly toward his mounting medical bills, rehabilitation, and to support him while he is unable to work during this difficult recovery.
