Support Donald Bean's Recovery After a Serious Injury

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community to help support my husband, Donald Bean, after a recent accident that has left him with a long recovery ahead.

While providing his incredible sound system at an event in Stockdale, TX, Donald tragically tripped and fell, breaking his tibia. He was immediately taken to the nearest emergency clinic in Floresville, but due to the severity of the injury, they were unable to provide the care he needed. Since we were a bit far from home in Universal City, the medical team decided it was best to transport him by EMS to NE Methodist Hospital for more specialized treatment.

Donald underwent surgery soon after arriving at the hospital. His doctors have informed us that his recovery will be long and challenging—approximately 8 months of rehabilitation, including physical and occupational therapy, for his right tibia fracture.

We are incredibly grateful to our community for their quick action when the accident occurred, and for their heartfelt generosity in organizing this GoFundMe campaign to help with Donald's medical expenses. This gesture means so much to us, especially as Donald will be unable to work for an extended period while he heals.

While we have insurance, there will still be many additional costs associated with his treatment and recovery—medical bills, therapy, and other expenses. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
