Sometimes we cross paths with people in the most unexpected ways. We practically stumbled across Cynthia Kennedy who was staffing the recent GEOINT Summit in St. Louis. We got talking and I offered her the couches we use in our booth.

She took a breath and said: "Oh, can I give you a hug? My house was destroyed in the tornadoes."

My jaw dropped. You see, I didn't know that—I just thought that Cynthia looked like she needed a good deed done for her that day.

But now I know—she needs to rebuild her home. Cynthia shared some pictures, and the damage is stunning. Her whole roof is just gone! We'll be helping Cynthia rebuild her life and her home by using the contributions to buy furniture, home repairs and more.

Just look at the pictures. We have many more that I could post, but just those few tells you all you need to know.

We wished the story ended there. But it does not. You see, Cynthia wasn't allowed to bring the couches home. Security wouldn't allow it after the trade show had ended.

So, we are going to double down and do more than just give Cynthia a couple of couches. We're starting this fund to get her some couches and hopefully much more.
