Support Cole's Legacy: Scholarship Fund 2024

This is the 2nd annual "Colbee "Cole" Cammarata-Hodgman Scholarship" we are offering in honor of our beloved Cole. It has been a year and a half since we lost him, but it still feels like just yesterday. We remember and grieve Cole every single day, and continuing this scholarship again this year is an important part of our healing as a family. Last year we were able to award several students from Cole's high school, and it was an incredibly rewarding and heartwarming experience. Cole had graduated high school in June 2022, and was beginning an exciting new chapter into adulthood when he tragically died in an accident while hiking at one of his favorite spots in October 2022.

To honor Cole's memory, his family has established a scholarship to be awarded to one graduating senior at his alma mater, Nashua High School South. We seek out students that remind us of Cole's spirit and grit.

Cole had a vibrant personality that was easy to love; he was witty and charming, and most importantly, had a genuine empathy and love for people. Academically, Cole may have struggled at times due to external issues, but grades do not demonstrate true intelligence. Cole's biggest gift to the world in his short 18 years was his quiet leadership and absolute devotion to his loved ones. Even when struggling, he was the first person to help someone else or be an enthusiastic cheerleader.

Any contributions towards reaching our goal, in addition to current family funds, will help keep our Colbee's memory alive, and encourage the success of the unsung heroes and non-typical students! A special savings account has been set up for this scholarship exclusively, and all funds will be used to support award recipients. Any funds in excess of our original goal will be allocated to an additional scholarship and/or kept in savings for next year. Thank you so much for being a part of something so special!
