❤️ Clayton Needs Our Help for a New Power Wheelchair

Hi everyone,

We’re coming together to support Clayton, an incredible member of our community who now needs our help to purchase a new power wheelchair.

Clayton lives with mucolipidosis type 3, a rare genetic condition that affects his mobility. Despite the daily challenges he faces, Clayton continues to show up for others with strength, humor, and heart.

If you know Clayton, you know he is far more than his diagnosis.

He proudly serves as a Morale Officer at the Aid Station, lifting the spirits of everyone around him. He’s also a dedicated soccer coach, mentoring and encouraging athletes both on and off the field. Clayton is deeply involved in YAAS at the Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center, where he continues to inspire and support community members.

Clayton wants people to understand something important:

“I’m in a wheelchair, and having a motorized scooter is part of my legs.”

His power wheelchair isn’t just equipment — it’s his independence. It allows him to coach, serve, volunteer, and move through the world on his own terms. Without it, daily life becomes much more difficult and limiting.

We’re asking for your help to ensure Clayton can continue doing what he loves and remain active in the community he cares so much about.
