Help Bring the Joy of Reading to My Kindergarten Class This Christmas

Hi everyone! My name is Maria Laura, and I’m a Kindergarten teacher. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for many years as a school psychologist — and I’ve learned that every child needs to be seen, heard, and valued.

Each day, I listen to my students’ stories, their dreams, and their challenges. One thing that truly breaks my heart is when I ask them what books they read at home, and many tell me they don’t have any.

This holiday season, I would love to change that. My goal is to raise enough funds to give each of my students a special Christmas present — their very own book to take home, read, and treasure.

I believe that books can open doors, spark imagination, and help children see new possibilities for themselves.

I’m hoping to raise enough to spend about $50 per child, which will include books and a small personalized holiday gift.

Every contribution — no matter the amount — will help a child feel seen, valued, and inspired. Thank you for helping me bring the magic of reading to their homes this Christmas. ❤️
