Yesterday, my sister - Cecelia - and her family experienced the unimaginable — they lost their home and everything inside to a devastating fire. While we are beyond grateful that she, Michael, and Harley were not harmed, their hearts are broken after losing two of their beloved dogs in the aftermath. Max passed at the scene, while Goose fought for his life at the vet. Their third dog, Huck, is still fighting to recover in an oxygen chamber.

They are now faced with starting over — replacing daily essentials, finding temporary housing, and covering the unexpected costs of emergency veterinary care. The weight of this tragedy is overwhelming.
