Support Cameryn Plemons' Medical Mission to Guatemala

Hey there! My name is Cameryn Plemons, and I am currently in the process of applying to physician assistant school. I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to join my alma mater, Abilene Christian University (ACU), on a medical mission trip to Monte Llano, Guatemala. I am beyond excited to combine my passion for healthcare with a heart for service on this journey.

This mission trip, organized through ACU’s Center for Pre-Health Professions (CPHP), partners with Health Talents International to bring much-needed medical care to underserved communities. During our time in Monte Llano, we’ll be conducting village clinics focusing on ophthalmologic and orthopedic care to those who have limited access to healthcare. It’s an opportunity to not only make a tangible impact on people’s lives but also to grow professionally and spiritually as I prepare for a career as a physician assistant.

Through this experience, I will gain invaluable insights into global healthcare challenges, develop hands-on skills, and practice cultural sensitivity in a real-world setting. Most importantly, this trip reflects the integration of faith and service, which is a cornerstone of ACU’s mission and one of the reasons I am so passionate about this opportunity.

The total cost of the mission, including travel, lodging, and supplies, is $2000. Any contribution you feel led to make would not only help me cover these expenses but also enable us to bring hope and healing to the people of Monte Llano.
